I may well have been an English major for my first degree, but it's been almost a year and a half since I've had to write a paper/essay of any kind other than a simple reflection. I now find myself sitting in front of the computer screen going "Ohhh dear" and frequently checking the Owl at Purdue website for quick refreshers on how to cite things properly using MLA (Modern Language Association) formatting, and how to even set my first page up properly. I used to love writing papers and I relished being able to sit and come up with new and inventive ways to validate my literary theories etc (English nerd much?), but now I find myself a bit sweaty at the pits, palms a bit moist, and the dull droning of white noise that is currently the state of my brain waves.
With that lovely sentiment, back to the (writing) board I go, with the intent to finish this 4-5 page book review/personal reflection before I call it a day.
